About Me

Who am I?

I am a Haitian-American artist based in Los Angeles.

After years of working a 9-to-5 and juggling multiple jobs, I felt completely burnt out. My work lacked meaning. I turned to painting as an escape, and it has become a great source of joy and self-realization.

Drawing on my ancestral roots and personal history, my art is an exploration of Haitian landscape and mythology through the aesthetics of expressionism and pop art.

What do I paint?

My childhood in Haiti, a dreamland alive with the vibrancy of nature, continues to shape my artistic vision.

As a painter, I am captivated by the symbolism of eyes, their ability to evoke different modes of perception and protection.

I have also been inspired by expressionists like Basquiat and pop artists like Kaws.

I am currently studying the being of Papa Legba (the referenced image) as a visual language — an evolving, living form through which I am exploring everything from mythology to contemporary culture.

  • Spiritual Awakening

The artist's role is to express inner emotions rather than imitate reality. This guides humanity toward higher consciousness and spiritual enlightenment.

  • Transcendentalism

I strive to create art that transcends borders, inspiring a universal connection rooted in a planetary naturism and the promise of hopeful futures.

  • Radical Imagination

Every artist is a messenger of what’s to come, tasked with dreaming of a better future and a better world.
